Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Every 5th Saturday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM (Acute Care) | 40 Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistant services in both outpatient and acute care settings
- Deliver orthopedic-focused outpatient rehabilitation under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist with patient evaluation, treatment planning, and progress documentation
- Document patient care accurately using an electronic health record system
- Participate in rotating weekend acute care coverage as scheduled
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of North Carolina
- Strong outpatient clinical skills with an emphasis on orthopedics
- Acute care experience sufficient to work comfortably in that setting
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
- Recent professional reference required for submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in both outpatient orthopedic and acute care environments simultaneously
- Familiarity with dress code standards in a clinical setting (navy scrubs or navy polo with khaki pants)
