Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant supporting patient recovery in a Skilled Nursing Facility in Waco, TX. You will assist patients recovering from injury or illness with mobility, strength, and functional activities under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Active Texas PTA license required to start the assignment.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term care setting preferred.
  • Experience with therapeutic modalities and restorative nursing programs preferred.
  • Ability to work autonomously within a therapy team and follow plan of care set by supervising PT.
  • Client requires candidates to meet preferred qualifications for the listed assignment guarantee and expectations. Candidates with less experience may still be considered; this is preferred, not required.

  • Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
  • Shift Name: Days.
  • Shift Pattern: 4x8 (four 8-hour shifts per week).
  • Assignment Duration: 13 weeks.
  • Schedule note: 32-hour weekly guarantee.
