We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a Home Health contract assignment in the greater Sacramento County area. The clinician will work with a diverse patient population in a home health setting, providing high-quality rehabilitative care and support.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, pulmonary, cardiac, and geriatric conditions
- Document patient progress accurately using EMR/charting systems
- Travel between patient homes within the assigned coverage area
- Maintain productivity expectations of approximately 5–6 patients per day
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care
