Physical Therapist Asst in the Acute setting at Ascension St Johns Sapulpa day shift, 7:30-4 Mon-Fri.
Also required minimum of 2 weekend days per month, and more opportunities are available if interested.
The clinician would be expected to work in a fast paced environment at a level 2 trauma center with neurological, orthopedic, cardiovascular, and oncological conditions as well as general medical. The clinician would be expected to work on all units within the hospital, which are mostly located in one tower. The clinician would be expected to engage regularly with the interdisciplinary team.
This rehab department is a large team of approximately 45-50 total associates including occupational therapy and speech therapy. The team consists of approx. 8 core physical therapists, 3 core physical therapist assistants, and approximately 7 prn physical therapists and assistants. The team works closely together on a daily basis, provides real time documentation and point of service care, and uses Cerner electronic medical record. Training will be provided by the team to prepare the traveler for clinical responsibilities.
