Key Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist
  • Perform physical therapy evaluation and treatment based on physician orders.
  • Complete comprehensive evaluations using appropriate tools and procedures.
  • Review patient records for diagnoses, history, and contraindications.
  • Establish and develop treatment plans with measurable goals.
  • Re-assess effectiveness of plans and modify goals as needed.
  • Communicate patient progress and needs to relevant team members and family.
  • Consult with medical providers on patient progress and treatment.
  • Recommend adaptive equipment to enhance rehabilitation programs.
  • Maintain and submit evaluation, treatment, and billing documentation.
  • Adhere to company standards and compliance programs.
  • Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides.
  • Participate in staff development programs and continuing education.

Requirements of the Physical Therapist
  • PT doctorate license
  • Fluency with point care
