The role involves supporting the acute care hospital department as needed. Candidates must possess strong neurological skills and patient management abilities. Experience with acute and skilled nursing facilities is required. The schedule rotates every 4 weeks, including every other weekend. Candidates will be caring for patients with neurological impairments, diseases, and orthopedic injuries. Experience with patient care, including gait training, cognitive disorders, and geriatrics, is essential. The work environment includes a diverse patient population, spanning ages 15-104 years. The position requires competency in evidence-based practice to treat medically complex patients. Physical Therapy Assistants will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
