Job Title: Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PTA Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: 1 year of Skilled Home Health Experience required License: Pending License Accepted Certifications: BCLS required Must-Have: Reliable transportation Description: We are seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant. The position is available in a home health setting. The shift is during the day for 8-hour increments. The therapist may visit up to 6 patients per day. The expected productivity standard is 30 points per day. Weekend work is not required for this position. There are no on-call requirements. The traveler will not need to float between different units. The facility offers a primary series COVID vaccination requirement along with one booster. Business casual attire is preferred, with scrubs allowed but not required. Charting will be done using EPIC Remote Client for Home Health and Rover app. Mileage reimbursement is provided based on IRS standards. Travelers will need to have their own transportation for patient visits. Driving distances may vary, with a maximum radius of approximately 60 miles per day. Candidates who have previously worked in home health will be given preference. References are required from previous employers covering a minimum of 1 year of experience. Travelers are expected to adhere to patient care standards and protocols. Each candidate should be prepared to work diligently in a home health environment.
