Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Inpatient Rehab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience required License: MN license required; can submit without having it in hand. Temporary license issues quickly once the board receives all required documents. Certifications: BLS certification required Must-Have: - Experience with EPIC charting preferred - Must be 25+ miles away from the facility - Accepts first-time travelers - Medical/religious exemptions required for vaccines Description: We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to work 5x8 days with every 4th weekend (Saturday & Sunday). Shift times will be from 08:00 to 16:30. This position does not require on-call duties. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience and hold a MN license. Applicants are encouraged to apply for the license once an offer is made. Charting will be done in EPIC; previous experience with this system is preferred. The role will involve working with a diverse patient population including adults and geriatrics. Expect to engage with patients recovering from various diagnoses including total joint replacements, strokes, and general orthopedic issues. The position requires skills in acute care, adaptive devices, mobility training, and patient education. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is a key aspect of this role. Candidates must be willing to fulfill all vaccination requirements as specified.
