Job Title: PTA Acute Care Hospital Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PTA Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 1+ years of experience with hospital-based, acute care, adult settings. License: PTA license required. Certifications: BLS required. Must-Have: - PTA program graduate - Experience in critical care, med surg, trauma settings - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Proficient in using rehabilitation equipment Description: Rehabilitation services focused on inpatient and acute care for adults. Provide patient care in a hospital environment, utilizing skills in physical therapy assistant activities. Demonstrate ability to work with a diverse patient population, addressing a variety of conditions including spinal cord injury and post-operative recovery. Maintain compliance with facility policies and dress code standards. Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to support patient rehabilitation goals. Utilize preferred charting systems for documentation of patient progress and treatment plans. Ensure all interventions are executed in accordance with professional standards and best practices.
