Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant Profession: PTA Specialty: Home Health PT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: Valid License Description: The therapist will work in Home Health. They will serve a greater area. Guaranteed hours for the assignment are 40 hours per week. Typically, the therapist will see 5-6 patients per day. Candidates with less than 6 months of experience will be considered only in extreme cases. They will be treating a variety of diagnoses, including cardio, pulmonary, orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric cases. The productivity goal remains the same at five or six patients per day. Charting will be done using the Cerner system. BLS certification is required. The setting is in Home Health. Candidates must have a valid license to practice. The policy allows for cancellation of shifts per assignment duration.
