You will carry out treatment, implementation, and documentation of patient status for home health patients under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist according to physician orders. The role requires reliable transportation for home visits, a current driver’s license, and agency-required liability insurance. Periodic office meetings are required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active PTA state license required to start the assignment in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Familiarity with basic computer functions, including internet, email, navigation of desktop applications, and ability to complete online HR services and training.
• Reliable transportation and current driver’s license.
• Agency-required liability insurance.
• Experience in home health or performing home visits preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience as a licensed PTA providing home health services preferred.
• Experience working under the direction of a registered/licensed Physical Therapist.
