Travel Physical Therapy Assistant jobs in Canton, IL offer a 13-week contract with 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. You need at least two years of experience, an active Illinois state license, BLS certification, and preferred outpatient orthopedic experience. Expect to see 10 visits per day in an outpatient-based hospital setting with aquatic therapy. No weekends or on-call required.
Your responsibilities include assisting the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans, providing hands-on support for therapeutic exercises, modalities, and aquatic therapy, and documenting patient progress. You will help patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance functional independence.
