You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant is responsible for delivering appropriate physical therapy services, documenting patient status, coordinating care, and promoting compliance with third-party payors.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant required.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant required.
• Proof of current CPR certification required.
• Current driver’s license required.
• Must have reliable transportation and insurance.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting, bending, pulling, pushing and prolonged standing and walking.
• Ability to travel locally and work a flexible schedule.
• Must read, write and speak fluent English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with geriatric patients or in home health settings preferred.
• Experience administering therapeutic modalities and documenting clinical progress preferred.
