Job Title: PTA Home Health Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PTA Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 08:00 - 17:00 Experience: Minimum 1 year of Adult Home Health Experience License: Must have a valid license Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: Recent Home Health experience Description: Home health visits to patients' homes are required. There will be periodic office meetings. Reliable transportation is a must. A current driver's license and agency-required liability insurance are required. The average number of patients per day is 5-6. Contractors will be assigned between 5-10 patients per day. Each patient visit and activity holds a point value. Contractors must reach a minimum of 30 points per week. Types of cases include Start of Care and Follow Ups. Weekend requirements vary by location and profession. Travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic is necessary. Mileage will be reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. Travelers will be compensated from patient home to patient home. Commute to and from the first and last patient is not billable. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. Candidates must have their license in hand. Applicants cannot be direct employees of any agency location. All patients on the schedule must be accepted regardless of distance. Documentation must be completed within 24 hours of appointments. Delayed or incomplete documentation may affect patient care and billing. There are no guaranteed hours with this contract. Candidates must meet weekly productivity points to maintain their financial needs. If patient numbers are low, opportunities to float to nearby clinics may be available.
