Job Title: PTA Home Health Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PTA Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day, Monday to Friday Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:30 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience preferred License: South Carolina PTA license required, must obtain prior to starting Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Home Health experience preferred Description: Position involves working as a PTA in a home health setting. Candidates must have home health experience preferred, although all PTA experience will be considered. Shifts are Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 17:00. A BLS certification is required. Local candidates are accepted within a 75-mile radius. Pending state license will be accepted, but must be obtained prior to starting. All requested time off must be included upon initial submission; late submissions will not be considered. Candidates should be aware of the attendance policy; more than two missed shifts without reasonable explanation may lead to cancellation of the contract. Previous experience in acute care, outpatient clinics, rehabilitation hospitals, and skilled nursing facilities is advantageous. Experience with a variety of conditions including orthopedic and neurological issues is preferred. Candidates will need to demonstrate proficiency in charting systems. Interdisciplinary support services will be available including physical therapy and social services. Daily workload involves managing multiple patient visits with a focus on rehabilitation. Travelers must provide compliance documents in a timely manner. Pass/fail tests will be administered during orientation with one chance to pass.
