Job Title: PTA Home Health Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PTA Home Health Duration: 16 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: GA or Compact License Required Certifications: Required Must-Have: Flu Vaccine Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only Description: The unit handles various diagnoses, including joint replacement, orthopedic aftercare, cerebrovascular accidents, osteoarthritis, diabetes, hypertension, congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, chronic kidney disease, dementia, amputation, and surgical/non-surgical wounds. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend unless stated otherwise. No call coverage is expected. Floating within the scope of practice may be necessary. Candidates will undergo a clinical screen to determine fit for the position. If the candidate passes the clinical screen and meets guidelines, they will be sent for final decision. Maximum request for time off is 7 days. If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. Full compliance is required to commence on time; if not compliant, there will be a two-week pushback due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. All request for time off must be finalized at the time of submission. Compliance items must be completed within specified timeframes. Modules are non-billable and included during orientation.
