We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our healthcare team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide therapy services that help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence. This role involves working closely with patients recovering from injury, surgery, illness, or other physical limitations.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in carrying out individualized treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
  • Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and functional mobility training
  • Monitor patient performance and progress during therapy sessions
  • Communicate patient updates and concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and safety precautions
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with facility standards
  • Prepare treatment areas and ensure therapy equipment is clean and functioning properly
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support quality patient care
  • Maintain a professional, compassionate, and patient-focused approach at all times
Requirements
  • Required: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Required: Active PTA license in state of practice or ability to obtain
  • Preferred: Previous PTA or healthcare experience
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative clinical environment
