We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for an assignment in Daytona Beach, FL. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide therapy services that help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive therapy team while gaining valuable experience in a new clinical setting.

Position Details

Responsibilities
  • Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
  • Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and functional mobility interventions
  • Monitor patient progress during treatment sessions and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, mobility techniques, and safety precautions
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility guidelines
  • Collaborate with Physical Therapists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support quality patient care
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and professional treatment environment
Requirements
  • Required: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Required: Active PTA license in the state of practice or ability to obtain
  • Preferred: Previous physical therapy or healthcare experience
  • Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment
