- Weekly Pay: $1670 to $1870
Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and mobility interventions
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers on prescribed exercise programs and safety techniques
- Assist patients in improving strength, flexibility, coordination, and functional mobility
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Ensure a safe and supportive treatment environment
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists, physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Adhere to facility policies, regulatory requirements, and quality care standards
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active PTA License in Georgia
- Minimum 2 years of recent Physical Therapist Assistant experience
- Current BLS Certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and therapeutic exercises
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
