We are seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support therapy services for patients with injuries, illnesses, or mobility limitations. The PTA works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence.
Responsibilities- Assist in implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
- Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance training, and functional mobility activities
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients on home exercise programs, mobility techniques, and safety precautions
- Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation in accordance with facility guidelines
- Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support quality patient care
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a professional healthcare environment
Requirements- Required: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Required: Active PTA license in state of practice or ability to obtain
- Preferred: Previous physical therapy or healthcare experience
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
