AlliedTravelCareers is working with Towne U.S. LLC to find a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Flat Rock, North Carolina, 28731!
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week assignment at a healthcare facility. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide therapy services that help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a new clinical setting while making a meaningful impact on patient recovery and rehabilitation.
Responsibilities- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
- Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and functional mobility interventions
- Monitor patient progress during therapy sessions and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, mobility techniques, and safety precautions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility guidelines
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support quality patient care
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on positive rehabilitation outcomes
- Maintain a safe, organized, and professional treatment environment
Requirements- Required: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Required: Active PTA license in the state of assignment or ability to obtain
- Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments and patient populations
