Job Overview We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support rehabilitative therapy services in a clinical setting. The PTA will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans that improve patient mobility, strength, and functional independence.
This role requires hands-on patient care, strong communication skills, and the ability to follow structured rehabilitation programs in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility interventions
- Support patients with functional training and ADLs
- Monitor and document patient progress accurately
- Communicate updates to supervising PT
- Ensure safe patient handling and mobility techniques
- Follow clinical and regulatory guidelines
- Maintain accurate documentation
Requirements
- Active PTA license (required)
- Associate s degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to follow clinical instructions accurately
- Prior rehab or skilled nursing experience preferred
- Comfortable working in a structured therapy environment
Pay Range
- Pay Rate: $42.00 $49.00/hr
