You will assist patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them improve mobility, function, and quality of life under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. Travel clinicians are expected to follow agency policies and document care thoroughly in the electronic health record.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Active MA PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification required.
• Home health experience required.
• Experience with HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) electronic documentation preferred.
• Ability to travel within designated coverage areas listed by the agency and provide care in patient homes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional experience working in home health with varied caseloads.
• Familiarity with home safety assessment and mobility equipment recommendations.

Assignment Details

• Weekly hour guarantee: 30 hours.
• On-call/weekend requirement: No.
• Coverage areas include Gloucester, Manchester-by-the-Sea, Beverly, Danvers, Peabody, Salem, Marblehead, Lynnfield, Lynn, and Swampscott.
• Travel mileage reimbursed between visits, from first patient to last patient.
