The role consists of providing care to adult and geriatric patient populations. Candidates must follow the Physical Therapist's plan of care. Daily patient treatment ratios are set at 16 units. Home exercise programs and patient family education are key responsibilities. Experience with patient lifting, transfer techniques, and safety is essential. Equipment familiarity is required, including bed alarms, crutches, and rolling walkers. Assessment skills necessary include vital signs, strength testing, and pain assessments. Candidates will work in a dynamic environment tailored to a variety of medical conditions. Weekend requirements depend on the chosen schedule. No float or on-call requirements are included in this position. Candidates must have a clean and active license and be compliant with vaccination requirements.
