Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support physical therapy services in a rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence through individualized treatment plans.
This role requires strong clinical support skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans
Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and mobility training
Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
Document treatments and patient responses accurately
Assist with transfers, positioning, gait training, and therapeutic activities
Educate patients on prescribed exercises and mobility techniques
Maintain a safe treatment environment and follow clinical protocols
Ensure compliance with documentation and regulatory standards
Requirements
Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the relevant state
Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
