Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Profession: PTA Specialty: Therapy Duration: 20 weeks Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 08:30 - 17:00 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: State Licensure Certifications: BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Experience in outpatient ortho, post-operative knee, hip, shoulder rehabilitation, and treatment of low back/neck pain. Minimum of 1 year experience is required. Description: The purpose of this position is to provide exceptional patient care in a therapy setting. Candidates will work with post-operative and chronic pain patients. The ideal candidate will be a good team player and demonstrate flexibility along with a strong work ethic. Equipment utilized includes E-stim, ultrasound, Hivamat, laser, Alter G, and Vector. Candidates should possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in manual therapy techniques. Team collaboration and effective communication skills are essential for success in this role. All staff must adhere to the specified dress code, which includes wearing dark gray scrubs. Unacceptable attire includes denim, sweatshirts, and open-toed shoes.
