Job Overview We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide supportive rehabilitative care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. The PTA will assist in implementing treatment plans designed to improve patient mobility, strength, and functional independence.
This role requires strong hands-on clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a structured rehabilitation environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists in delivering treatment programs
- Implement therapeutic exercises and mobility interventions
- Support patient rehabilitation and functional training
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Communicate updates to supervising PT
- Ensure safe patient handling techniques
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Follow all facility and regulatory guidelines
Requirements
- Active PTA license (required)
- Associate s degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to follow clinical instructions accurately
- Prior rehab or skilled nursing experience preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical setting
Pay Range
- Pay Rate: $40.80 $47.60/hr
