Job Type: Traveller, Contract (13 weeks)
Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday (40 hours/week)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Lexington, NC. This 13-week contract position offers a full-time schedule in a supportive and professional environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality patient care and help clients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Responsibilities:
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Implement treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
Document patient care and communicate progress to the supervising therapist.
Ensure a safe and clean environment for all patients.
Educate patients and families about treatment plans and proper exercise techniques.
Qualifications:
Current PTA license in the state of North Carolina.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Previous experience in an outpatient or rehabilitation setting preferred.
