Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - $1,596 to $1,796 per week in Gastonia, NC

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited PTA program.
• Current, active North Carolina Physical Therapist Assistant license required to start the assignment.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant, including experience with geriatric patients and home health settings.
• Proof of current BLS/CPR certification from AHA or ARC required.
• Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and valid vehicle insurance required.
• Ability and willingness to travel locally and provide care in patients’ homes. Ability to perform heavy lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and prolonged standing and walking.
• Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.
• Maintain current licensure, certifications, and meet mandatory continuing education requirements.
• Preferred: prior experience administering therapeutic modalities (heat, cold, electrical modalities, traction), documenting clinical notes for home health visits, and familiarity with home health documentation systems.
