Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - $1,568 to $1,768 per week in Tulsa, OK

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Oklahoma PTA state license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in an acute care or hospital setting preferred, including exposure to neurological, orthopedic, cardiovascular, oncological, and general medical patient populations.
• Experience working with Cerner electronic medical record preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, level II trauma center environment and to engage regularly with an interdisciplinary team.
• Willingness to work across multiple units within a hospital setting.
• Previous experience supervising or overseeing support personnel, students, or assistants preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Hours: 07:30–16:00.
• Shift Days: Monday–Friday, with a minimum of two weekend days per month required.
• Work environment: Fast-paced acute care/hospital setting serving level II trauma patients.
• Electronic Medical Record: Cerner.
• Department Size: Rehab team of approximately 45–50 associates including PT, OT, and SLP.
• Floating: Candidate should be prepared to work on all units within the hospital tower.
