Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a travel assignment in a rehabilitation setting. This role involves supporting physical therapists in delivering therapeutic care to patients recovering from injury, illness, or surgery.
The PTA will assist in implementing treatment plans, guiding patients through exercises, and monitoring progress to improve mobility and overall function.
Key Responsibilities
Assist physical therapists with patient treatment sessions
Implement individualized therapy plans under supervision
Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities
Monitor and document patient progress and responses
Educate patients on exercises and mobility techniques
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Ensure patient safety during all therapy activities
Requirements
Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
Ability to work across a 7-day rotating schedule as needed
