Job Overview
We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a contract assignment. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, strength, and functional independence through prescribed rehabilitation programs.
Key Responsibilities
Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities
Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist
Educate patients on exercises, mobility techniques, and safety measures
Document treatments and patient responses accurately
Assist with mobility training, balance activities, and functional exercises
Maintain compliance with therapy regulations and professional standards
Promote patient safety and quality care throughout treatment sessions

Shift: Day Shift
Shift Time: 08:00 AM 04:30 PM
Schedule: Per contract schedule
Contract Length: ~14 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 35 per week
Requirements
Active Physical Therapist Assistant license (state required)
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Previous rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient, or acute care experience preferred
Strong patient care and communication skills
Ability to follow treatment plans accurately and effectively
Experience documenting patient progress and outcomes
Valid state/federal photo ID required on-site at all times
Compliance with onboarding and health requirements
