Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant Profession: Allied Specialty: Rehab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of home health experience required. License: State license required. Certifications: BLS certification required. Driver's license and proof of insurance required. Must-Have: - 1 year of home health experience is required. - Homecare Homebase EMR experience is required. Description: Home Health Services provides care in various home settings. The position involves seeing an average of 6 patients per day. A candidate with prior experience in home health is welcomed, including first-time travelers. Focus is solely on adults, addressing chronic diseases, wound care, IV therapy, and post-operative rehabilitation. Charting experience with Homecare Homebase is essential for this role. Experience with OASIS-E assessment tools is preferred for non-assistant roles. Candidates must be familiar with geriatric and adult chronic disease management. Use of gait belts and knowledge of maintenance notes is necessary. Departmental leadership will oversee the work of PTAs. Technology utilized includes smartphones and laptops for documentation. The work may require occasional travel for patient visits, within a defined radius. No weekend scheduling is expected unless specified for weekend-only positions, and there is no call requirement. Requests for time off must be approved by management. Scrubs in light grey are required for this position.
