Key Responsibilities of the Travel Physical Therapist Assistant:
- Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans to improve patient mobility and function
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and modalities under PT supervision
- Monitor patient progress and report updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients on exercises and proper techniques for recovery and injury prevention
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patient care
Requirements of the Travel Physical Therapist Assistant:
- Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
