Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant supporting home health patients in Portland, OR. You will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients recover from injury or illness, restore mobility, and maintain independence. Travel to patient homes, implement plans of care, and complete documentation as required.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy or PTA from an accredited educational program.
  • Active Oregon PTA license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification required from AHA or ARC.
  • Prior home health experience required.
  • Minimum education: Associate degree.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using homecare electronic documentation systems.
  • Experience with patient travel between home visits and mileage documentation.


Assignment Details

  • Shift hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
  • Coverage area: West side of the Portland (PDX) region.
  • Weekly hour guarantee: 36 hours.
  • On-call/weekend requirement: No.
  • Must travel to patient residences. Mileage reimbursed between visits from first patient to last patient.

Impacting Patient Care

Implement individualized plans of care as directed by the supervising PT. Provide skilled therapeutic interventions, complete timely and accurate charting, and coordinate travel to patient homes to deliver care. Contribute to improved patient function and independence in the home health setting.
