This outpatient PTA position is based in Tucker, Georgia, a welcoming suburb just northeast of Atlanta. The clinic is a modern outpatient rehabilitation setting that treats a broad range of conditions, including general orthopedic issues, spine-related pain, sports injuries, post-surgical cases, and work-related injuries. Patients typically present with neck and back pain, shoulder and knee problems, balance and mobility challenges, and functional limitations that impact their daily lives and work. A typical day includes a mix of initial evaluations and follow-up treatment sessions, documentation in the electronic medical record, coordination with referring providers, and patient education on home exercise programs and injury prevention. You will work closely with physical therapist assistants and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow and consistent, patient-centered care.
Caseloads are primarily adult, with opportunities to see both younger and older patients, including recreational and competitive athletes. Patient volume is structured to support thorough evaluations and meaningful one-on-one treatment time, while maintaining a consistent daily schedule. The clinic provides a supportive and collaborative atmosphere where therapists share clinical insights, discuss complex cases, and participate in ongoing learning opportunities.
