Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - $1,453 to $1,653 per week in Alameda, CA

Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant at a skilled nursing facility in Alameda, CA. You will work with patients recovering from injury or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited educational program.
• Active California PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. (Client-specific requirement.)
• Experience working in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute rehabilitation settings preferred by the client.
• Experience implementing therapeutic exercise programs, transfer and gait training, and restorative nursing programs preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel therapy experience preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation in a skilled nursing setting preferred.
• Experience with mobility aids, ADL training, and fall prevention protocols preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0800–1630.
• Work days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
• Position supports a skilled nursing facility patient population and may require coordination with nursing and restorative teams.
