Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant in Lillington, NC. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. This role is in an outpatient orthopedic clinic serving a diverse caseload that includes farmers and retired military. Open to new graduates; outpatient experience is preferred.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Active North Carolina PTA license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings preferred.
  • Experience with vertigo treatment and dry needling is a strong plus.
  • Client requires ability to collaborate with PTs and therapy technicians in a small team environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience treating a caseload that includes agricultural workers and retired military personnel.
  • Comfort working in a clinic with multiple part-time and full-time therapists.


Assignment Details

  • Schedule: Monday–Thursday: 7:30am–5:30pm.
  • Friday: 7:30am–12:30pm (half day).
  • Worksite is in a rural town between Raleigh and Fayetteville; candidate should be prepared for a community-based outpatient setting.

Work with an experienced clinical team made up of two full-time PTs and three part-time PTAs. You will deliver outpatient orthopedic care supported by therapy technicians. This role offers exposure to an advanced and varied caseload and opportunities to apply specialized skills such as vertigo management and dry needling when applicable.
