Key Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Provide physical therapy services per the patient's Plan of Treatment
  • Confer with the Physical Therapist regarding patient progress and concerns
  • Assist with cleaning and maintaining equipment and treatment areas
  • Report equipment problems to appropriate personnel
  • Communicate patient needs and progress
  • Assist in securing special adaptive equipment for patients
  • Maintain and submit documentation according to regulations
  • Adhere to professional practice standards and company policies
  • Participate in staff development and continue education

Requirements of the Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Maryland license or Compact license accepted
  • Preferred skills: HCHB
  • Productivity requirement: 28-32 points per week
