Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - $1,440 to $1,640 per week in Hayward, CA

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active California PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC required or must be obtained prior to start.
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility required. Client prefers prior experience with geriatric populations, transfers, ambulation training, and restorative programs.
• Demonstrated competency with common PTA duties including implementing treatment plans, documenting progress, and performing therapeutic modalities.
• Ability to work a 35-hour per week schedule and meet contract availability requirements.
• Immunizations and health screenings as required by facility policy.
• Preferred: Experience with electronic medical records systems used in post-acute care.

• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Details: Days 0800-1630.
• Work Days: Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat (per client VMS work days).
• Guaranteed Hours per week: 35 (per client VMS information).
• Contract Weeks: 14-week assignment.
