AlliedTravelCareers is working with Jackson HealthPros to find a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Aurora, Illinois, 60506!

Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant supporting elementary and middle school students in Aurora, IL. You will assist the licensed Physical Therapist in implementing individualized plans of care, provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility and function, and support students in the school environment. This role involves working with pediatric populations and collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student goals.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active Illinois PTA license or ability to obtain state licensure prior to start.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, schools, or children is required.
  • Client note: May consider a PTA if they have school/pediatric experience.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with elementary and middle school age students.
  • Previous experience in school-based therapy settings.


Assignment Details

  • Part-time schedule approximating 72 contract days versus a typical 180-day school year.
  • Orientation dates: 8/3 and 8/4.
  • First day of work: 8/11/26.
  • Last day of work: 5/21/27.
