Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active California PTA license is required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is required. Caseload management experience with 1:1 patient care is required.
- Ability to manage a daily caseload of approximately 16–18 patients (typical cadence 2 patients per hour).
- Comfort working with a patient population ranging from teens to geriatrics. No pelvic rehab or wheelchair-bound patient management required.
- Client requires submission of a current resume to be considered.
- Preferred: prior experience working with a designated PT model where PTA handles follow-ups and progress reporting. Preferred: hands-on therapist applicants.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Outpatient clinic.
- Shift: Days.
- Typical caseload: 16–18 patients per day, approximately 2 patients per hour, 1:1 patient care for follow-ups and progress notes.
- Clinic setting: Mostly orthopedic cases; no pelvic rehab and no wheelchair-bound patients.
- Clinic environment: Newly constructed building with modern amenities and designated PT for initial evaluations.
