Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - $1,321 to $1,521 per week in Wylie, TX

Make a real difference as a travel PTA in Wylie, TX. You will work with outpatient adult and pediatric patients recovering from injury or illness, helping them restore mobility, function, and independence under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program or COTA/approved PTA credentialing equivalent as required by state regulations.
• Active Texas Physical Therapist Assistant license required prior to the start of assignment.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
• Outpatient experience required. Experience with post-operative orthopedics, balance training, gait training, and therapeutic exercise preferred.
• Experience using common outpatient modalities and equipment such as ultrasound, TENS, hot/cold packs, paraffin, therapeutic pools, whirlpools, and gait training devices required.
• Ability to implement treatment plans established by a Physical Therapist, document patient progress, and provide patient and family education.
• Strong safety awareness with experience in safe patient handling, infection control, and clinical equipment maintenance.
• Reliable professional appearance, punctuality, and ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Preferred: prior experience in a high-volume outpatient clinic and familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
