Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• 2 years of PTA experience required.
• Active TX license or Compact PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in long term care or skilled nursing facility settings preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 8 hour days, 40 hours guaranteed.
• Weekend requirement: None.

Impacting Patient Care

As a PTA traveler you will deliver therapeutic interventions including exercise, gait and balance training, and therapeutic modalities under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. You will document patient progress and communicate outcomes to the supervising therapist to support continuity of care and positive functional outcomes.
