Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - $1,287 to $1,487 per week in Bryan, TX

Make a real difference as a travel PTA in Bryan, TX working in a skilled nursing facility. You will work with residents recovering from illness or injury, helping them move better, feel better, and maintain function under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Record treatments and progress in medical records and ensure care follows established plans.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited program or equivalent.
• Active Texas PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Ability to follow established plans of care and document treatments per policy and regulations.
• New graduates welcome. Clinical experience under supervision is acceptable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working with geriatric populations in SNF/LTC settings.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record documentation.

Impacting Patient Care

Provide direct physical therapy interventions as planned, delegated, and supervised by the Physical Therapist. Evaluate, plan, and administer treatments to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing. Provide patient, family, and caregiver education. Monitor patient response and complete required documentation in accordance with company policy and state and federal regulations.
