Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant working in a skilled nursing facility in South Milwaukee, WI. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, assisting them to improve mobility and independence under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Active Wisconsin Physical Therapist Assistant license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required or may be required by client. (Client may specify AHA or ARC.)
  • Experience providing therapy in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
  • Experience with restorative nursing programs, transfers, gait training, and use of standard adaptive equipment preferred.
  • Ability to follow plan of care established by a supervising Physical Therapist and to document patient progress in electronic medical records.
