Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant in Augusta, GA working in an outpatient setting. You will treat general orthopedic and gait, core, and orthopedics (GCO) patients referred from orthopedic physicians for post-operative care or conservative management to avoid surgery. Clinicians work under a licensed Physical Therapist and have access to physician notes. Typical productivity expectation is approximately 2 patients per hour (about 13 patients per day). Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
  • Active Georgia PTA license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Outpatient orthopedics experience or new graduate with recent outpatient clinical experience.
  • Proficiency with WebPT EMR preferred.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with post-operative orthopedic patients.
  • Experience achieving productivity targets in an outpatient clinic (approximately 2 pts/hr).
