Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active PTA license in the state of Oklahoma at time of submission.
• Minimum 1 year of PTA experience.
• Experience in long term care or rehab settings is required.
• Ability to document in electronic medical records and accurately record treatment minutes per regulatory requirements.
• BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC.
• New graduates considered only if they have Level II clinical experience (not solely Level I observation).
• Resume, skills checklist within 1 year, and 0–1 references required at time of submission.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supervising or supporting students under PT guidance.
• Familiarity with APTA practice acts and state practice act requirements.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts.
• Start time must be before 6:00 AM and no later than 10:00 AM; times are flexible if consistent and communicated with Director of Rehab.
• No weekends required.
• 35 guaranteed work week.

Impacting Patient Care Nationwide

As a travel PTA you will provide rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment interventions per the supervising Physical Therapist. Duties include manual techniques, therapeutic exercise, ambulation, modalities, and use of assistive devices. You will assess patient progress, communicate with the supervising Physical Therapist to adjust care, document all required information in the electronic system, participate in care conferences and required trainings, and assist with discharge planning. Practice must adhere to APTA and state-required practice acts and ethical standards.
