You will work with patients recovering from injury or illness, implementing treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to improve mobility, function, and quality of life. Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Active GA State PTA license required prior to the start of the assignment.
  • BLS certification required from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
  • Demonstrated competency with ADL training, transfers, gait training, and therapeutic exercise.
  • Ability to follow PT-established plans of care and document progress in the electronic medical record system used by the facility preferred.
