Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited educational program.
  • Active Maryland PTA license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC required or may be required per client preference.
  • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
  • Experience providing therapy to geriatric and post-acute populations preferred.
  • Ability to follow PT-directed plans of care and document per facility standards.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
  • Shift Name: Days.
  • Shift Details: Days 0800-1630.
  • Schedule: 5x8 per week.
  • Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as needed.
  • VMS Contract Weeks: 14-week assignment.
